Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
As an RBT at Lopez & Associates, you deliver 1:1 ABA therapy directly in our clients' homes and communities, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. You work with children building communication, social, and daily living skills. No two days look the same, because no two clients are the same. This is hands-on clinical work for someone who wants real mentorship and a team small enough that their voice matters.
What you'll do
Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions in home and community settings following the treatment plan written by the supervising BCBA
Implement skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs with fidelity
Collect accurate session data and document progress in a timely manner
Build genuine rapport with each child and maintain clear, trusting communication with their family
Collaborate with your supervising BCBA and adjust to plan updates based on client progress
Uphold client dignity, assent, and confidentiality at all times
What we're looking for
Active RBT certification, or readiness to complete RBT training (we provide the supervision and support to help you get certified)
Experience with or genuine interest in working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental differences
Reliable transportation for travel to client locations across our service area
Patience, empathy, and clear communication with children and caregivers
Dependability and strong follow-through on scheduling and documentation
Nice to have
Prior ABA, behavioral health, education, or childcare experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish), which is valued and supported across our practice
Coursework toward a degree in psychology, education, or a related field

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

We're seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced BCBA to join our team. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work with children and families across home, school, and community settings. You'll oversee clinical programming, supervise behavior technicians, conduct assessments, collaborate with caregivers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality ABA services, with clinical autonomy backed by direct access to leadership.
What you'll do
Conduct behavioral assessments and reassessments as needed
Develop individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention programs
Analyze client data and make treatment recommendations based on progress
Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
Conduct parent and caregiver training sessions
Collaborate with schools, related service providers, and treatment team members
Ensure treatment plans are implemented with fidelity
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Adhere to BACB ethical guidelines and best practices
Required qualifications
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
Active New Jersey Licensed Behavior Analyst (NJ LBA) credential
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field
Minimum one year of ABA experience
Experience supervising behavior technicians
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
Reliable transportation for travel to client locations as needed
Preferred qualifications
Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
Experience developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Experience providing caregiver and parent training
Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities

Behavior Technician (BT) / ABA Therapist
As a Behavior Technician at Lopez & Associates, you work directly with children ages 2 to 21, helping them build communication, social, and daily living skills through 1:1 ABA therapy in their homes and communities. This is an entry point into the field for someone who wants to do meaningful clinical work with real training behind them. Supervision and a path toward RBT certification are provided.
What you'll do
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision, following each child's treatment plan
Help clients build communication, social, self-help, and daily living skills
Use positive, evidence-based strategies to support skill growth and reduce barriers to learning
Record session data and progress notes accurately
Communicate warmly and clearly with families during and around sessions
Participate in training and supervision to build your clinical skills
What we're looking for

Willingness to pursue RBT certification, with our training and supervision to support you

Clinical Supervisor / Senior BCBA
This role is for an experienced BCBA who wants leadership without leaving clinical work behind. As a Clinical Supervisor, you oversee clinical quality across cases, mentor junior clinicians, and contribute to how our programs grow. You carry clinical influence across the practice while staying close to the work that drew you to this field.
What you'll do
Oversee clinical quality and treatment fidelity across a group of cases
Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to BCBAs, RBTs, and behavior technicians
Support assessment, treatment planning, and program design across your team's caseloads
Contribute to program development, clinical standards, and staff training
Partner with leadership on clinical strategy, onboarding, and continuous improvement
Collaborate with families, schools, and related providers on complex cases
Uphold BACB ethical guidelines and model best practices for the team
Required qualifications
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
Active New Jersey Licensed Behavior Analyst (NJ LBA) credential

Non-client hours are built with flexibility so you can manage coursework, supervision hours, or personal commitments without burning out.

Therapist Range: $22- $24/hr
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): $25-$27/hr
Student Analyst: $28- $30/hr
BCBA's Salary positions (full time) - Hybrid options available.
Mileage and travel reimbursement for paid drive time between clients
